Handball has deep roots at Lloyd Athletic Club, and today our four handball courts keep that tradition strong. From casual open play to ladders, box leagues, and city league competition, there’s always a game waiting no matter your skill level.
What sets our handball group apart is their camaraderie. They love the sport, they love teaching newcomers (lessons available, see below), and they’ll make sure you feel welcome and confident on the court. It’s the kind of community where learning the game is just as much fun as playing it.
Afterward, the social hub of the club is right outside the glass courts. Grab a drink—whether it’s a protein shake or one of our four local beers on tap—and join your fellow players to recap the match before relaxing in the hot tub, steam room, or sauna. At LAC, handball isn’t just a sport—it’s a community.

We use clublocker.com to manage our courts and you will need to be a member or at least a punch-card holder (10 visits for $125) to reserve a Squash, Racquetball, Handball, Pickleball, or Wallyball Court. Once you apply for access to our courts on clublocker we will verify your info and approve your request. It usually takes less than 48 hours.
