Pilates-Stretch/Pilates Yoga Fusion class works the deeper core muscles to achieve efficient and graceful movement, improve alignment, breathing, and body awareness. It delivers simultaneous stretching and strengthening in a non-judgmental environment, with a low-impact balanced system of body/mind exercise. With an emphasis on breath and alignment, the instructor provides several variations making the class accessible for all levels, and taking it at your own pace is encouraged. If you want to work on something specific, just let the instructor know and they will do their best to accommodate you in class. Mats and props are provided, and while the class is traditionally barefoot, shoes are also permitted. Movement should never be a punishment, so let the hardest decision you make be showing up, and come have fun with us!

I started taking Lucy’s Pilates Yoga Fusion class when things started to shut down and class options were minimal. Having never taken Yoga or Pilates before I was apprehensive at first but that soon ended as Lucy is very welcoming. Her directions are easy to follow, very detailed and clear. She offers options/modifications for all of the moves and everyone works at their own level. I look forward to her classes with the relaxing atmosphere and the feeling of calm when done. This is a great class to take to increase your strength and flexibility while reducing your stress levels.
