If you think you’re too young or too old for this class, think again.  Justin’s class is geared for a variety of ability levels allowing you and your physical abilities to set your own level of challenges for personal achievement.  There is no judgement, no required reps.  You’re in total control of your abilities, what you do and how much.  Justin incorporates a variety of exercises for different parts of the  body which he regularly modifies to keep things interesting.  This well paced class is upbeat and fun.  The use of bands, weights and balls focuses on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and eye, hand, brain coordination.  Justin is engaging, attentive to class members, especially newbies.  He is knowledgeable and invested in producing positive outcomes yet compassionate and understanding of personal challenges.  He has a delightful casual style and positive attitude.  I finish Justin’s total body workout feeling worked but not exhausted,  and invigorated both physically and psychologically.  If my schedule permitted I would attend  every “Boomer & Better” class that Justin teaches.  As a recent transplant from the East Coast and avid gym rat most of my adult life, I couldn’t be more pleased with Justin and Lloyd’s.

I have enjoyed belonging to Lloyd Athletic Club for the past three years. When my doctor asked me to work on increasing my stamina I began attending Senior Fitness classes led by Justin. He has created a welcoming, fun atmosphere for seniors who have a range of skill levels. Since joining LAC I have seen an improvement in my stamina, strength and balance.  Many thanks to Justin and Lloyd Athletic Club!

I think I already wrote an evaluation of Justin, but in case I didn’t, I
want to compliment him hugely. I am 79 years of age, and he treats me with the greatest respect and care. He is very careful to make sure none of my joints will be damaged by any of the machines. Today, we had an hour training session, and on several of the machines I told him it was hurting my shoulder, and he stopped me after 2-3 tries and we tried two or three similar machines until he found ones that I could do without hurting my shoulder. He is very well organized, and I truly appreciate and like Justin. He’s a great trainer. I’m so glad he’s ‘my trainer.’
